About the Event
No Drop-ins please! Pre-registration is required. Nonrefundable / Nontransferable
Join Christina Charlotte in a mystical setting for a Vinyasa and Yin fusion yoga class. You will be surrounded by twinkling lights, lanterns and birch trees.
Vin Yin Yoga, also referred to as Yin Yang Yoga, is a yoga sequence that combines Vinyasa Yoga and Yin Yoga. This is normally done with Vinyasa as the first half of the sequence and Yin Yoga as the second half. The Vinyasa portion warms the body up and rids your body of excess Prana, or energy. After this, your body is ready to relax and lengthen during the Yin Yoga portion.
Vinyasa - Beautifully curated postures that join physical movement with the breath, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice, opening students up to go deeper into the asanas (poses). Modifications offered for all levels of practice.
Yin Yoga - Yin invites students to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons, and fascia. This class is slower paced floor work where students hold asanas (poses) for up to 3 - 5 minutes, using props to create comfort.
· Cost: $23 Tickets are Nonrefundable / Nontransferable
· Pre-registration required (no drop-ins) no refunds or transfers.

Christina is a Sarasota, F.L. native who was first drawn to practice yoga at the local YMCA when was 16. Later in college Christina re-discovered yoga in a studio setting and became hooked! When training concluded, Christina joined Yoga Alliance, and sought out every opportunity she could to gain experience teaching. She has experience teaching to: Gyms, Studios, Country clubs, and a Senior Living Facility. Christina believes that yoga should be accessible for the student at every level, and every season of life. First and foremost, Christina will always be a student of yoga: she finds CEU workshops, and trainings invaluable. Currently, she is enrolled with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and will become a Certified Health Coach in July of 2021.
